As a reminder, we recently extended our hours of operation from 8 AM to 9 PM daily, 7 days a week to further accommodate our members going forward. The Green Cross recently updated and digitized our Member Handbook & Agreement to make it easier for new and existing members to access helpful information about our organization, cannabis, its benefits, and safe usage. As we announced in our last newsletter, our entire staff is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for the protection of our valued members and community. As an essential business, we made this a priority in an effort to foster a safe environment for you to purchase cannabis in-person. Now that vaccinations are available to 12 and order individuals, we encourage all our members to get vaccinated too. We all need to do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19. While the CDC recently released new guidelines on indoor mask wearing, The Green Cross will continue to follow safety protocols, require masks inside our facility, and practice social distancing both inside and outside our storefront location. Members are no longer required to wear mask while waiting to enter The Green Cross, however, you must maintain 6 feet between you, other members and our staff, and put your mask on when entering the facility. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Got change?! Due to the national coin shortage caused by the pandemic, The Green Cross has a limited supply of coins while we continue to operate as a cash-only business. In order to continue to provide change to our members, we ask that anyone with spare change lying around exchange it for paper bills or in-store credit. Our staff can assist you with counting the coins and translating them to the equivalent dollar amounts. In the event you have a large amount of coins to exchange, there might be short processing delays. However, we have a state-of-the-art counting machine to minimize extended wait times. If you're short on time, you're more than welcome to drop off your coins and we'll give you store credit or make a cash payment available for pick-up on your next visit. House reintroduces bill to decriminalize cannabis, create social equity programs After voting overwhelmingly last year to decriminalize cannabis at the federal level, congressional leaders reintroduced a bill Friday to strike marijuana from the list of controlled substances and invest in communities disproportionately affected by the so-called drug war.
