Happy Holidaze! As 2021 comes to a close, we hope you all are enjoying time with friends and family near and far. The past two years have not been without challenges, but the only way we can get through this is with the support of loved ones and our communities. We consider all of you apart of our close knit community and TGC family.

As we mentioned in an email last week, The Green Cross has made the difficult decision to change our hours of operation temporarily. We will now be open from 8 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday, and 9 AM to 5 PM on Sundays. We hope to resume our normal hours of operation in the future, however, we appreciate your understanding in the meantime as we navigate these challenging times.

MJBizDaily.com - The SAFE Banking Act – which holds the keys to the U.S. financial system for marijuana companies – has been removed from an omnibus defense spending bill in Congress, possibly shattering the hopes of the cannabis industry for meaningful federal reform in 2021.

U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter, a Democrat from Colorado, confirmed on Twitter on Tuesday that the SAFE Banking legislation was removed by a conference committee this week. Read more »

Geneticists reveal the evolutionary origins of cannabis sativa

Packaging & Production Assistants are responsible for the packaging of a variety of edible products and helping with production as needed. This position supports manufacturing by helping with de-molding, assisting in the production of items, labeling, packing, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment is maintained at all times. Budtending Technician Position Overview:
Budtending Technicians assist new and existing members with making purchases at The Green Cross storefront location. They ring up purchases, make product recommendations and educate members on our products, services and cannabis use. Member Services Technicians greet and welcome new members to The Green Cross storefront location. They process new member paperwork, respond to email inquiries, answer phone calls, and address neighborhood issues as they arise. For more details on the job responsibilities and requirements of the position, please review our Budtending Technician Job Description.

Starting Rate: $20/hour

Classification and Benefits: This is a full-time non-exempt position. As a full-time employee, this position is eligible for Health and Welfare Benefits after the required waiting period; Paid Time Off, and Staff Discounts.
