![]() Dear Green Cross Members, Friends & Family, T minus 5 days until 4/20! We hope you're all stocked up on your favorite cannabis products and ready to ring in the holiday from home this year! We encourage all our members to find new and creative ways to celebrate, and encourage everyone to use various social media platforms to stay connected in a new and fun fashion this 4/20. While we can't, in good conscience, encourage any 4/20 gatherings this year, we hope to celebrate with you in spirit. The Green Cross will be open from 8 am to 7 pm that day, however, we have cancelled all 4/20 festivities and will not be promoting any specials or price drops this newsletter. We will, however, offer in-person specials and everyday low prices throughout the day. While it's disappointing not to celebrate our favorite holiday together this year, it's more important to adhere to the Shelter in Place Order, protect our communities, and enjoy a Green Cross pre-roll or delicious IncrediMeds edible in the safety of our own homes this 4/20. In the words of San Francisco Mayor Breed, "Order food. Watch Netflix. Stay home and stay safe." We couldn't agree more! ![]() We want to take a moment to assure you of our continued commitment to keeping members, staff and the community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. In accordance with the San Francisco Department of Public Health's Updated Health Order, we have implemented a Social Distancing Protocol. This protocol is posted on our storefront windows, however, we'd also like to share it with our members via email. You can review the detailed document here: The Green Cross Social Distancing Protocol. Here at The Green Cross, we take this pandemic very seriously and are doing everything in our power to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, meanwhile offering members a clean and efficient store to purchase medicine during this time. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions on what we can do to better serve our community during this health crisis, please feel free to reach out via email at [email protected]. Thank you! ![]() To prevent the spread of COVID-19, The Green Cross can no longer allow members to bring reusable bags from home while the SFDPH Health Order remains in place. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes you, however, we hope you see the necessity for this while this crisis continues. We'll be sure to update our members once this measure is no longer in place. As a reminder, the checkout bag fee will increase from 10¢ to 25¢ citywide on July 1, 2020. As a retailer, we are required to adhere to the San Francisco Checkout Bag Ordinance by charging this fee, so please plan accordingly. Thank you for understanding! ![]() The Green Cross has now implemented a new Online Order System that allows members to place orders online for pick up in-store. This was done in an effort to streamline transactions to ensure members get in and out of the storefront more efficiently. Members can easily place orders online by visiting The Green Cross Online Menu, adding desired items to your cart, signing into your Meadow account, and checking out once the order is finalized. Once the order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email and/or text with a summary of your order and the order total. When the order has been fulfilled, you will then receive an email and/or text notification that it's ready for pickup. As a reminder, we are still a cash-only business, so all orders will need to paid for upon pick up. Please note that all orders must be picked up on the same day the order is placed, otherwise the items will be put back into inventory and a new order will need to be placed. If members need to use our ATM to pull cash out for your purchases, we now have a sanitizing station set-up next to our ATM for your convenience. This station contains gloves, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes. As a huge thank you to all the healthcare workers and first responders putting their lives on the line to protect and care for us during this health crisis, we are now offering these individuals a 25% discount on all purchases, everyday. This Hero Discount Program is available from now until July 31, 2020. In order to take advantage of this discount, a valid healthcare facility badge/ID or license must be presented on your next visit. Once a badge/ID or license is provided, we will notate the discount on your account, and it will then be automatically included in all future purchases for the duration of this program. From all of us here at The Green Cross, thank you for your efforts! From now until July 31, 2020, all seniors, medical cannabis patients, disabled members, first responders and healthcare workers get priority servicing at The Green Cross. This means qualifying members will get served ahead of other members to ensure they get in and out more efficiently. For members who do not meet the aforementioned criteria, we hope you understand the need for this new program and thank you in advance for your patience. As a reminder, The Green Cross offers special member parking at the former tire shop across the street, located at 4249 Mission Street. Here are the revised parking lot hours during this time: Member Parking Lot Hours: Monday: 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Tuesday: 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Wednesday: 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Thursday: 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Friday: 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Saturday: 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Sunday: 7:30 am to 7:30 pm San Francisco's mayor is warning pot-smokers to stay away from the city on 4/20![]() Every April, pot-lovers flock to San Francisco to celebrate 4/20, an informal holiday for marijuana enthusiasts. This year, the city is asking its people to celebrate with Netflix and takeout rather than the usual smoke-filled party on Hippie Hill, otherwise known as Robin Williams Meadow in Golden Gate Park.
